The prestigious event to crown the Ultimate 2025 New Zealand Champion for Sorcery Contested Realm TCG is upon us. Join us for two days of gaming amongst all your fellow Sorcery players to determine the best Sorcery player in all of New Zealand. This event is open to all and everyone is welcome to come by and participate in games of this amazing New Zealand-made trading card game.
The event will be split over two days with this event being Day 2 - Draft. Entry for each individual day's event will cost $50 or if you participate in both days, it will cost $90. There will be allocated booster pack prizes for each day's event based on placings and total number of participants, and an overall New Zealand Champion prize based on overall placings on both days which will include a trophy and other amazing prizes.
Doors open at 9 am at the Auckland Rose Park Hotel, 92-102 Gladstone Road, Parnell, Auckland 1010.
For this DRAFT event on Day 2 rounds will be best of three, 60 minutes per round. Deck size for draft minimum will be 24 spells and 12 sites. Entry cost $50.
Prizing for Day 1 and Day 2 of the events generously donated by the team at Erik's Curiosa! 1st place each day will get to choose from an Alpha Precon, an Alpha Binder, or an Alpha Playmat! 2nd place will choose from the remaining, and then 3rd place gets the item that is left.
**At the moment we will not have EFTPOS capability so bring cash or be ready to do bank transfer for payments.
We will have casual FREE "Learn to Play" events running throughout the day as well as space to just play casually if the main competition is not your thing. Bring your family and friends. We will provide preconstructed decks to learn with or you can buy your very own to keep and build on. We will also help with any deckbuilding advice or play questions. In addition we will be doing Draft-on-Demand events as well that will kick off whenever we get a group of at least 8 people. *While booster pack stocks last.
