Time: 6pm
Location: GameKastle on Wade Hampton Blvd, Taylors, SC
Cost of Entry: $25 for 1 random Gothic preconstructed deck + 3 packs of Gothic to boost said precon
Prizing:

1x Grandmeowster Wizard (Non-foil) for 1st place
Deckbuilding
Players will get approximately 30 minutes to open a random preconstructed deck and 3 packs from the Gothic set and complete deck construction with approximately 45 minutes per game (about an hour total per round with time for pairings and any games that reach the time limit).
Rules:
—MUST use the Avatar given in your random preconstructed deck.
—You may choose to use multiple elements (even outside of the elements provided in the precon). Draft kits will be available for the sites only.
—Your Spellbook will contain at least 36 cards - your arsenal of minions, magics, auras, and artifacts.
—Your Atlas will contain at least 16 cards - your Sites with which you'll construct the realm around you.
—There is no deckbuilding constraint on cards according to their rarity!
—Any extra cards that don't go into your 36-card Spellbook or 16-card Atlas become your Collection in its entirety.
Collection
—Cards that are named by cards that interact with your collection are freely available for use.
—Certain cards reference specific ones by name that should be fetched from your collection. In Constructed would typically be included in your Collection and would count towards your 10-card Collection Limit. For Limited, the most common cards can be found in the box topper for Gothic.
—Some cards allow you to interact with cards from your Collection. If specifically named, you may resolve the effect as if they were already in your collection. Otherwise, you should have the card in your Collection, which, for limited, is the group of extra cards you opened but didn't include in your Spellbook and Atlas.
Overtime
If allotted time expires without a winner, then the current player, whose turn it is at expiry of time, will be labeled turn 0 and 3 more turns will be played to completion. At the end of 3 turns, if still no one is the definitive winner (meaning the only Avatar left alive), then the player whose Avatar is not at death’s door is the winner, and, if neither player’s Avatar is at death’s door, or both are at death’s door, then the game will register as a draw.
