The prestigious event to crown the Ultimate 2026 New Zealand Champion for Sorcery Contested Realm TCG is upon us. Join us for a huge day of gaming amongst all your fellow Sorcery players to determine the best Sorcery player in all of New Zealand. This event is open to all and everyone is welcome to come by and participate in games of this amazing New Zealand-made trading card game.

The event will be a mix of draft and constructed totalling 6 rounds. There will be allocated booster pack prizes for the main event event based on placings and total number of participants, and an overall New Zealand Champion prize based on final placings which will include your name on the trophy and your very own pounamu to remember your victory.

Doors open at 12pm at Sturges West Community House - 58 Summerland Drive, Henderson, Auckland 0612

For this event rounds will be best of 1! Utilise your "Collection" which in draft is the remainder of your pull, and in constructed is limited to 10 cards. 45 minutes per round, using the most recent rulebook version. Deck size minimum for constructed will be 60 spells and 30 sites with a 10 card collection (You do not NEED a collection but cannot utilise it if you do not include it). Full decklists will be required to be submitted the day before. Email for deck list submission is sorcery.tcg.nz@gmail.com - When emailing put your name as it appears in the play network in the subject line. If you are submitting your deck list via curiosa you must also supply a screenshot in the email.

We will have casual FREE "Learn to Play" events running throughout the day as well as space to just play casually if the main competition is not your thing. Bring your family and friends. We will provide preconstructed decks to learn with or you can buy your very own to keep and build on. We will also help with any deckbuilding advice or play questions. In addition we will be doing Draft-on-Demand events as well that will kick off whenever we get a group of at least 8 people. **While booster pack stocks last.
