The Free City Conventicle is Chicago's flagship gathering for Sorcery TCG players from the Midwest and beyond, with events firing from Friday May 29 - Sunday May 31!
Our draft event on May 31 will use the Free City cube. We'll draft, then play 4 rounds of swiss (BO1).
- Your deck must contain a minmum of 24 spells and 12 sites.
- Spellslinger is the default avatar.
- Your collection consists of your entire draft pool, plus any cards that are specifically named when referencing "your collection" (e.g. Ghoul, Shoggoth, Townsfolk).
- No Top Cut. If we don't have a clear 1st-place winner after 4 rounds, the top 2 players will play a 5th and final round to complete the tournament.
To play in this event, you must buy a ticket here ($10 + processing fees). Registering on the Play Network will NOT get you a seat at the tournament. Only ticketed players will be admitted. If tickets are sold out before the event begins, you can join the wait list to be notified of an opening.
Here's what you get for the price of admission:
- 1 stamped Toolbox
- 1 pack of Gothic per win (max 4 packs)
The #1 player will win an "Apurrentice Wizard" foil from the Store Welcome Kit. The #2 player will win 200 additional dust.
