Tournament Structure

Players will begin with approximately 20 minutes to open their packs and build a 25 card Spell deck and a 12 card Site deck. After deckbuilding, there will be a number of non-elimination Swiss rounds that scales with attendance. Also, depending on attendance, there may be a top 4/top 8 to determine final standings.

What is the Courtesan Cup?

The largest Sorcery event of the year, the Courtesan Cup takes place at the Monaco Baltimore on June 15-16. You'll find side events including drafts, casual play, and multiplayer variants. Top prize for the Dice City Games "Last Chance Trial" (June 2) grants entry into the main event, which consists of Swiss rounds of Bo1 Constructed on Saturday June 15 and a Top Cut playing out Sunday June 16. The event hall will have a bevvy of cool stuff to see, including Sorcery artists and local vendors. The Courtesan Cup will truly be the world's first large-scale Sorcery tournament, and we encourage you to join - whether you win or lose the Trial - for a chance to be part of this historical event. Also, Dice City will be a featured vendor -- and we are brining singles, sleeves, and playmats!

Parking

In addition to our normal parking options at Dice City Games, please note that meters on Grandview Avenue are free on Sundays.
