Please bring a 2 player mat if you have one as I may not have enough if the event gets past 16 players.

This will be a Constructed Best of One Swiss event.

There will be 4 rounds at or below 16 players.

There will be 5 rounds at or above 17 players.

We will cut to top 4 -- **best of 3 -- no sideboard

Prizing -- top heavy 1 box split guarantee at 15 or less players.

-- at 16+ I will add another box to split for prizing.

1st -- 12 packs

2nd -- 6 packs

3rd and 4th -- 4 packs

Golden Rule is THE rule for any event I host! The point is to have fun and enjoy competition. If we can back up the game state or anything that doesn't significantly change the outcome...we will. You may change your mind after you have removed your finger from the chess piece. its OK.

There will be several players that are competent enough to be judges. If we cant agree, then we will ask a judge in the online league hosted by Ira.

Lastly. I don't like the "timeout" and go to turns rules. This is best of 1. We play until there is a winner. That said... 45 minutes should be enough time to resolve 90% of games. If you are outside of games a chess clock will be brought to the match. Starting with the next active player, each player will have a 3 minute timebank. Speed Sorcery is now in session! If you run out of time before your opp0nent, you lose the game. Think fast, play fast, and take over the Realm!
