Introducing Main Line Chess & Games Sorcery League!
This league will be hosted every Wednesday & Friday where you can accumulate points to win some Arthurian legends on release!
THIS WEEKS THEME WILL BE STARTER DECK BATTLE! COME IN WITH A STARTER DECK WITH NO MODIFICATIONS AND RECEIVE 4 ADDITIONAL POINTS FOR THE LEAGUE'S LEADERBOARD TO REIGN SUPREMACY AND RECEIVE ADDITIONAL POINTS! iF YOU DON'T HAVE A STARTER DECK, PLEASE FEEL FREE TO PROXY A STARTER DECK! iF YOU CHOOSE TO PARTICIPATE IN THIS WEEKS THEME MESSAGE ME ON DISCORD AT OpusxDopus#9928 and come 30 minute prior to start to so i can verify the deck for your additional points! THIS IS A COMPLETELY OPTIONAL TO PARTICIPATE SO FEEL FREE TO BRING WHATEVER DECK YOU DESIRE!
Each tournament league day that you participate will cost 15$ and you will get two packs of sorcery for participation!
We will be hosting league tournaments on Wednesdays and Saturdays! We aim to cater to several crowds to continue growing the community!
This is a reoccurring event that will occur Wednesday nights at 6pm as well as Saturday at 2pm unless another special event is planned!
The league will function in a tournament based where we will host a swiss like tournament! For each win you get you will receive a point at the end of the league!
HOWEVER! The focus of the league goal is to welcome newer players and introduce fun ways for players of all skill level to join in whenever! There will be multiple ways of accumulating points in the league!
At the end of the league a box will be award will be split and rewarded amongst the top finishers and will conclude with the release of Arthurian legends!
The first week of league (week of 12/18) will work as a normal league where for every win you get you will get a points. The following week there will be a special theme. Each player has the option to customize there deck in that format and every player that does so will receive points for participating in the special theme of that week! Player will also receive wins for each win that players has during the day of the tournament!
If a player decides to participate in the league prior to entry, YOU must message me prior to the tournament and I will check to verify that the deck fits the criteria of the league HOWEVER NO PLAYER IS REQUIRED TO FOLLOW THE SPECIFIC THEME! Please feel free to bring a starter deck or your favorite deck! Themed weeks are just additional ways for players to enjoy the game! My goal is to creature a fun experience or both casual and competitive players alike!!
Please know that you may play in however many days as you want, but the point of this league is to be flexible to grow the community!
I will have some additional incentives who players who teach or bring new people to our league, again this is a work in process that I will be adding onto. Please feel free to shoot me a private message with any questions or concerns!
An example: One week may have a theme where if you use only ordinaries in your deck you will receive 4 points REGARDLESS of # of participants!
I will have more details of theme weeks in the upcoming weeks!
You will also earn dust from the organized play network regardless of wins or losses!
Tournament will be best of 1 untimed!
